Day 1 - Vancouver to Richland

Community spirit is always alive and well at Tony's.

The US military totally panicked in the face of the Storm Area 51 movement, and hurriedly moved the whole thing, complete with alien prisoners, to this unsuspecting suburb near Seattle.

Interstate 15: stopped dead in her tracks - 6 miles west of Cle Elum WA. Did I say Cle Elem? Yes, I did. We found a back road to cut off a good portion of the congestion – but it still cost us 45 minutes!

What you can do when you're stopped dead on I-15 and totally bored.

Dusk is rolling across the land – it's been a day of delays – we're not even in Yakima yet.

No turnouts to Natches or the Yak this trip – we're pressing on to Richland – still an hour away.
